xūan时隔一年再度降落在柏林，这时她已经不再是学生，世界也变得不一样了。她随机地走进一家贩售old school时尚的curated vintage shop，发现门口摆着刚在伦敦发行的德国出版商synchron magazine的新书This is My Lifestyle，便和店主聊了起来，二人一致认为这是读过最棒最不可思议的杂志。他于是推荐边上的一家英文二手书店，而不善社交的书店店主恰好在店里闲逛，捂着脸跑到了他身后腼腆地笑，不善社交的人之间有一种心照不宣的安心。而后来去了他的店也是一个完整的世界，一个被椅子做的书架和天上垂下来的书包围的安全空间。

xuan觉得自己的世界线在逐步收束，她走在柏林的街头然后经过莱比锡，在街道、在学校的卫生间、在公园和剧院门口学设计，柏林有一种冷淡的踏实，不像伦敦那么吵闹，她觉得berlin is a project。

Landed in Berlin again after a year, no longer a student, xūan felt like her whole world had changed. She randomly walked into a curated vintage shop selling old school fashion, and found the new book (launched in London last week) "This is My Lifestyle" from the German publisher Synchron Magazine. She struck up a conversation with the shop owner, and they both agreed SYNCHRON is the best and most incredible magazine they'd ever read. He then recommended a nearby curated English second-hand bookstore, where the unsociable bookstore owner happened to be wandering there. He shyly smiled behind his hand, a silent understanding between socially awkward people. Visiting his shop later, she found another world, a safe space surrounded by shelves made of chairs and books hanging from the ceiling…

xūan felt her world narrowing down gradually. She walked through the streets of Berlin and then passed through Leipzig, learning design on the streets, in school bathrooms, in parks, and at the theatre entrance. Berlin has a cool but solid vibe, unlike the noisy hustle of London. She felt that Berlin is a project.
