Go inside a stone
That would be my way.
Let somebody else become a dove
Or gnash with a tiger’s tooth.
I am happy to be a stone.
From the outside the stone is a riddle:
No one knows how to answer it.
Yet within, it must be cool and quiet
Even though a cow steps on it full weight,
Even though a child throws it in a river;
The stone sinks, slow, unperturbed
To the river bottom
Where the fishes come to knock on it
And listen.
I have seen sparks fly out
When two stones are rubbed,
So perhaps it is not dark inside after all;
Perhaps there is a moon shining
From somewhere, as though behind a hill—
Just enough light to make out
The strange writings, the star-charts
On the inner walls.
Stone

📂Leap Day Newspaper
原来是有人在在意leap day的,这本刊物由阿姆的have a good dog press出版,小体量的阅读,并拥有可爱的credits和有趣的装订。
📂Time is an Arrow, Error by Katja Mater
Two clock-faces are staring at each other.
They are two sides of one thing, as different as they are the same.
They move as two bodies revolving around each other, into a tender embrace.
A kiss, made of time, in time.
Mirrored shape shifters, their hour-numbers climbing on each other's shoulders.
Running up against the limits of their own usefulness, clocklikeness.

Previously on the past two weeks
xuan experienced acute gastroenteritis after returning from Berlin to London / xuan fell and injured her knee and arm on the way to buy groceries / xuan injured her cervical spine while climbing an overhang at the climbing gym / xuan cut her hand with aluminum foil while cooking.
On the journey to adulthood, xuan gradually realized one thing: to do what should be done when the weather is good, and to do what should be done when the weather is bad, even though the state of being in London is often sunbathing while raining. She also understood that when absurdly injured or sick, adults must quickly adjust their state to work.
Daylight saving time came a few days ago, and during this season, Xuan feels the strong relativity of time. While adjusting herself, she read some newly purchased books in the living room, all of which are related to time. Here's a sharing of some of them:
📂 Leap Day Newspaper It turns out that someone cares about leap day. This publication is published by Am's Have a Good Dog Press, a small reading with cute credits and interesting bindings. The preface writes that February 29 is the day to eliminate binary thinking, transcend dialectics. It is the day when you discover that life is not entirely composed of a series of cycles, but is filled with moments of jumps, somersaults, and tremors, subverting our understanding of time. The next issue will be in 2028.
📂 Time is an Arrow, Error by Katja Mater Clocks precisely divide physical time, but in this book, semi-circular clocks exposed at different times are drawn and the resulting negatives are reassembled into a complete, inaccurate "clock" image. Time becomes chaotic and fragmented here; 1 can become 4, after 12 o'clock can be 13 o'clock, and any moment can become 8 o'clock. It introduces itself as follows: Two clock-faces are staring at each other.
The living room witnesses some emotions being suppressed and released. Sometimes xuan recalls all the conversations and incidents that happened in this living room when everyone was still in London last August, and sometimes 8 represents eternity.
